ABOUT THE EVENT

QUACK-QUACK! The 2024 PBA Pluck-A-Duck Raffle Event is a fun 2-day event held on August 10 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and Monday, August 11 at NOON. The Raffle Event joins forces with the Town of Putnam’s Main Street Car Cruise on August 11, where attendees will enjoy viewing over 1,700 classic cars, live music & more, including the Kids Corner in Rotary Park, where Bounce Houses, Photo Booth, Arts & Crafts Tent, Xen’s Critters, petting zoo, Cotton Candy Station, Balloons by Bella, Face Painting, and Celebrity Dunk Tank await kids of all ages. Post a special wish that would make you feel just ducky on the Wall Of Wishes, and a donation will be made to Make-A-Wish Connecticut, in support of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

On August 12, thousands of rubber ducks will be released at our secret duck pond location in Putnam CT to be ‘plucked’ for a chance to win 100+ fantastic prizes, including gift certificates, tickets to events, gift baskets, and much more! After all prizes have been plucked, the final twelve waddlers out of the pond will be selected for our “Lame Duck” prizes.

The PBA Pluck-a-Duck Raffle Event is the major fundraising event for the Putnam Business Association. Funds raised will support future free community events such as the Zombie Fashion Show, The Great Pumpkin Festival, and International Day, drawing thousands of visitors to the Quiet Corner.
